Buster’s Care Transparency

We believe in being open and clear about Buster’s journey. Below, you can see the actual costs of his care so far and the path we have ahead of us.

As we receive more information (i.e. additional diagnostics and cost estimates), our focus and goal(s) may change. We will do our best to keep Buster’s Galaxy of Givers up-to-date, and you can always reach out through our Contact page with questions, comments, and concerns!

The Path to Healing: Updated Plan

Now that we have the results from Buster’s lymph node cytology, the IHC report, and as much research as we could find, we are revering back to the original plan to amputate his effected leg giving him the absolute best chance at a pain-free and high-quality life with whatever time he has left. Cats are incredibly resilient, and we know Buster will thrive as a member of the Tri-Kitty Club!

We aren’t just following a hunch, though, we’re following the science. Careful consultation with our local veterinarian, team of oncology specialists, and the resources in Buster’s Research Library below have helped us choose this path to give Buster the highest quality of life and longest time in the sun.

We are keeping our goal of $6,000 to pay toward the surgery and initial rounds of immunology. Thank you for helping us meet this new challenge!
