For two years, we thought she was a girl, and she still insists on she/her pronouns! Melody is Buster's best friend, always ready with a gentle purr or a comforting head-nuzzle. Her calm presence and unwavering affection have been a constant source of strength for Buster throughout his journey, making her an indispensable part of his recovery crew. She truly embodies cosmic grace.

BINX, a.k.a. “Binxie Baby”

The Captain

Don't let her age fool you—Binx is the self-appointed Captain of this ship! Despite being the youngest of our main crew, she rules with an iron (but loving) paw. Binx is a whirlwind of cosmic energy, always ready for an adventure or to ensure everyone is following her rules. She keeps Buster on his paws and the household in line, providing a lively and spirited presence that reminds us all to embrace every moment. Her bold spirit is a beacon in our constellation.

JULIUS, a.k.a. “Juli Buli”

Junior Officer in Training

Julius, our Junior Officer in Training, joined our constellation as a “foster” this winter and brought with him a boundless kitten energy, despite being nearly three! He's learning the ropes of being a 'bestest boy' under Buster's expert tutelage. While his initial attempts at friendship involved a lot of pouncing, Buster's patience and his own growing maturity have forged a mutual respect. Now, they're often seen giving a silent salute as they pass or even sharing the occasional meal. Julius's journey from rugged street urchin to cherished family member mirrors the hope we hold for Buster's recovery.

The Scout

Figaro, our intrepid Scout, is the community cat who graces our porch with her presence, often staying overnight. This brave girl roams the neighborhood, bringing tales from beyond our immediate galaxy. Her independent spirit and watchful eye make her a vital, if unofficial, member of Buster's crew. She reminds us that support comes in many forms, and her visits to Buster's Recovery Shuttle are always a special, comforting event. She's our connection to the wider cosmic expanse.
